She is my challenge. It is so hard as a mom to maintain the balance in fashion between modesty/age appropriate. #2 has a definite mind of her own and fashion sense but not the same as mine. So we did a good job working together in this shopping trip to balance her desires as well as my limits. I definitely had to let some things go and let her express herself.
In the end we were both happy, thrilled actually to find things we both loved. It was a great mother/daughter bonding day!
