No Sew Fleece Blanket

Winter arrived and we need blankets!  This is a project I did with my kids a couple years ago.  These blankets have been super popular; I'm sure because the simplicity, softness & cuteness!  The fabric stores are carrying TONS of fleece options at very affordable prices.  If the fleece is not on sale at your fabric store please look for a coupon. Coupons are everywhere as well.  You can print them out from online, download an app, or check your mail for coupon flyers.  Coupons for fabric and craft stores save you a lot of money.

Items Needed For This Project:

  • Fleece:  4-6 total yards.  2 yards will make a nice size throw or lap blanket.  3 yards is large enough to use on a twin size bed.  You are tying two pieces together.  Each piece should be the same size.  Stores that carry lots of Fleece options:  Joann Fabric, Hobby Lobby, Wal Mart or check your local Fabric Store.
  • Scissors
  • 3X5 card or ruler

We made the "Cat" blanket for my oldest daughter for her birthday this month.  She loves All Things Cat.  There are a bazillion different prints and colors to choose from.  Go crazy and have fun!
