Fabric Banner DIY

It has been the month of bedroom makeovers! First at my house, next at Mindy's (Cutegirlshairstyles) and then my step-daughter.  It was a ton of work but the results are serious cuteness!
There is one common item in each of the rooms I worked on.  It is something very cute and I decided to share the tutorial with you.  I love these fabric banners.  They are such a cute and colorful accessory for kid/teen bedrooms.  I am thinking I could use this same format for  a table decor at my next party as well!

Items Needed For This Project:

-Fabric/Ribbon: I used 9 different designs of fabric/ribbon.  I cut them 18" long and 2" wide.  The size of your banner will determine how many strips you need.  In Emma's room I used 54 total strips.  The Vintage Blush and CGH bedrooms were about double the size.
I purchased all supplies at Hobby Lobby for all 3 rooms.

-String:  I used a black string in the video.  Twine in the other rooms.
-Misc:  Scissors and ruler.
