This project is seriously easy! I saw a pair of socks that had gathered lace at the top and fell in love. But I said to myself, -I could make a lace topper that has elastic that can be used on any pair of knee highs. This lace has already been gathered and elastic added to make this a no sew project.
Items needed for this project:
- Knee High socks- I found lots of colors at Target.
- Gathered/elastic/lace- I found mine at Hobby Lobby in cream and black. I am sure you could find something at your local fabric store if you don't have Hobby Lobby.
- 1/4" ribbon- I bought mine at Hobby Lobby on a spool. I used grosgrain ribbon as it stays tied better than a silk. You can find this same ribbon at Joann, Walmart, and Michaels.
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Scissors
My favorite Identical Twins modeling the socks for me. I love them like my own neices. They are the oldest daughters of Mindy from Cute Girls Hairstyles.
