Marble Fingernail Polish | Top Beauty Styles

This is a really fun activity.  I saw this idea and decided to try with my daughter and nieces this weekend.  They LOVED it.  I have to say they take a little bit of practice but the more you do them the more fun it becomes!  I  can't wait to try all kinds of color options.

Items needed for this project:
  • 2 or more colors of fairly new nail polish.  ( if it is thick it won't work well )
  • Scotch Tape
  • Tooth Picks
  • Cup of Room Temp water
  • Q-tips
  • Nail Polish Remover
  • White nail polish for base color and Clear top coat

I tried red and pink, pink and black, and black and yellow.  They were all pretty.  You just have to play around with different colors and figure out what you like best.
I would love to see what you do.  GO to my facebook page and show me your cute nails!

  2. I just tried this with my daughter last night, and it worked out great! I've been seeing this new trend a lot, and I was really skeptical that it would actually work...I mean, dropping nail polish in water?! Sounds crazy, but works great and looks so cool!
    Thanks for the tutorial!

  6. I'm so sorry. I don't know why it didn't work. Maybe watch the video again and listen for details. Was your water room temp? Was your polish quick dry? No quick dry. I have also learned that instead of tape you can use vaseline around the skin to keep polish off the finger. Just don't get on nail. I hope I can help.
